• Converting TS videos with mutiple audio streams

Hi there, I'm using MCEBuddy 1.0.8 and the "H.264 Recommended" profile. I'm using MediaPortal as a recorder tool. I've a bunch of TS recordings on my HDD that contain two language streams (German/English). MCEBuddy only converts the German audio stream. Is it possible to convert...

  • Re: wrong audio stream

Hi there, I've a similar problem as Jens but it's just the other way round: I'm also recording with MediaPortal and some of the TS-files contain a German and an English audio stream. MCEBuddy always picks the German audio stream for conversion. I'm just wondering if it is in general possible...

  • Re: H.264 Incompatible with Windows 7

I hope some guys at MCE Buddy will find a user-friendly solution for all our converted files (3 years using MCE Buddy !). I thought this program was brilliant, but now I'm a bit confused to learn that MCE Buddy's H.264 encoding is not really what it should be. By the way, if H.264 encoding is...

  • Re: Processor Usage

the very act of converting video requires using your processor. Some programs allow you to throttle your cpu usage, but all that does it make the whole process of conversion take longer. So unfortunately, the answer is no. If you need your processor, i suggest you let your computer do the conversions...

  • Re: Encapsulation
Use the "Apple Compatible" H.264 option
Thank you very much, that worked; I can now see it in flash. However, there are a lot of compression artifacts and the video is playing very fast. This is the metadata I found from flash: trackinfo=[object Object...

  • High volume and distorted sound in converted file

I have just started using MCEBuddy 1.08. I am well impressed with the program and the video quality and compression achieved using the H.264 Best profile but have a problem with the audio. It isn't terrible but not good enough to use being very loud and distorted. I suspect the sound is clipping...
